Mid Lancashire Area Ramblers

These Map & List type pages hold a lot of information and many options.
Here they are providing details of walks around the UK and some overseas.
A given entry may include:-
- a "link" to download a GPX File of a track/route
- a "Link" to a Route display (which also gives access to GPX, PDF, Video as appropriate)
- a Map of the walk.
- a brief discription on the walk.
- Possibly details of length, height. (NOTE some details are nonsense, apply common sense)
- a "Link" to Video of the walk (on You Tube)
- a "Link" to open/download a PDF holding a walk description with pictures, grid refs and text.
All of them include a "Link" to display the walk start location in Streetmap
Where is shows a "Link" these are in blue and when clicked will take you to a video, PDF, streetmap, GPX

Here are some details of the different options available in the List Mode.

# Just a number of the entry. Visible on map Popups and in table.
Title Just a simple identification.  Clicking on this jumps to the relevant place on the map
Descr A longer description of a walk. Usually only where there is a PDF walk description. Otherwise it may say "Recorded Track", or "Video and Map"
Dist If known, distance in Miles & Km.  Please note that due to a technically oddity this can be incorrect (excessive)
Date Date when the walk was recorded if known.
Show Route Clicking this Link will Either jump to a map showing the Route and possibly Height details that is downloadableprintable.  OR it may just display a simple map of the route.
Show Video Clicking this Link will jump to You Tube to display a video of the walk. These are variable quality, (not Julia Bradbury level!). Some are less than a minute, others quite a few minutes. All have music.
Download GPX Downloads a GPX file of the route.  Also downloadable from the Route Map.
Show PDF If there is a detailed walk description then it will open in a new page where it can be read/downloaded. 
Show streetmap Click this link to open a page showning the start of the walk on an street map.
Has Video There are two values.  Yes   or  No     Use these in the Filter Boxes (top left if any)
Has PDF There are two values.  Yes   or  No     Use these in the Filter Boxes (top left if any)
Grid, Lat Lon Location of the start of the walk.
Ascent This comes from different sources.  If you click the Route link the resulting page has a more reliable estimate of the height for most walks.
