Mid Lancashire Area Ramblers

This page provides a number of different ways of looking for, and searching for walks.
The only difference between the "Tabs" is how the information is displayed.
Click on each "Tab",  Table, Detail, List, Map,  to see the different formats.
The Calendar at the right side is explained further down.

1. Table, Detail, List tabs, have things are common, namely:-
   - Click on the Highlighted "title" to get a popup showing full details of the walk.
   -To print the page, click on "print" just below the tab name, next to the e.g. 1-12 of 12
   -To show more pages, change the drop down list on the top right of the shaded area.
       OR use the Previous/Next/Last icons at middle top of the shaded area.
   -To change which walks appear, use the options table top right of the Page.
       For each topic,click on the  " + " icon, then tick or untick any of the choices that get displayed.
       The display will promptly change to the new conditions.
2. MAP Display.  Clearly this is very different.
   Map control:-
   - Double-click on the map to zoom. Or use the + - at top left of the map.
   - Click on  [ ]  top left to fill the screen. (Click [. ] again, or Esc, to return to smaller size)
   - Click the "sheaf of paper" icon top right of map to change type of map (e.g. to OS map)
   - Right click anywhere to see the relevant
      * Grid Referemce,
      * nearby post codes
      * What3Words code
      * Access directions google map, OS Map, possibly photos.
  - Click on the Three Bars top right to access a range of further options (do explore this)
  Viewing Walks:-
  A number of "walker" icons will be visible, possibly with different colour backgrounds.  
  Click on a walker will either:-
   - expand the map to look closer if there are more than one walk in that area.
   - show a popup giving a summary of the walk.
     Click on areas of that popup to get full details, or an OS map or Directions.
3. Calendar   
    Clicking on a date will show a list of any walks on that day.
    Click on a walk to see the full details.

In general, just Click on any area or icon where a mouse symbol changes to a "hand" to see what it does.
