Notice of Area Members Day & AGM
This will be held on Sat 26th January at the Broughton and District Club (sometimes called the Tennis Club), Whittingham Lane (B5269), Broughton, Preston, PR3 5DA – Grid Ref: SD526352.
The Club does have a CAMRA bar.

A reminder email will be sent near the date.

Morning Walk:
A member from Preston Group will lead a 5 or 6 miles walk from the Village Hall, meeting at 9:50 for a 10:00 start.

Morning Workshop:
Bought an OS Map recently?  You can access the area of the map on mobile or computer.
Subscribe to Trail Magazine?  Subscribe to Country Walking Magazine?
Then you can access the whole UK on mobile and computer.

The workshop with focus on the OS Maps App for phones and if time permits, will demonstrate the OS Web Site function on computers.

Time: 9.30 -12.30.

Attendees will need a mobile phone (or tablet) with the OS Maps App loaded, and have registered with the App.   Optionally bring a laptop if time permists exploring the Web based features.

Lunch: A basic buffet will be available at 1pm, donation appreciated.Or bring your own lunch.

AGM: This will start at 13:45

Post AGM talk: will be given by a representative of Ramblers Holidays.
The event will end no later than 16:00.
